XBMC is available for Linux, OSX, and Windows. Created in 2003 by a group of like minded programmers, XBMC is a non-profit project run and developed by volunteers located around the world. To install XBMC \u00a0in ubuntu 11.10 open a Terminal (ctrl+alt+t) and issue the following command:<\/p>\n<pre>sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc\/unstable\nsudo apt-get update\nsudo apt-get install xbmc<\/pre>\n<p>2.
