How To Install Audacity 2.1.0 On Ubuntu, Debian, LinuxMint and ElementaryOS

Audacity is an open-source, multi-track audio editor for Linux/Unix Windows and MacOS. It is designed for easy recording, playing and editing of digital audio. Audacity features digital effects and spectrum analysis tools. Editing is very fast and provides unlimited undo/redo. Supported file formats include Ogg Vorbis, MP2, MP3, WAV, AIFF, and AU.
In this article i will guide you how to install latest release of Audacity 2.0.5 on Ubuntu, Debian, LinuxMint and ElementaryOS.
1. Install Audacity 2.1.0 on Ubuntu. Open the terminal and run the following command:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:audacity-team/daily
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install audacity

2. To uninstall and remove Audacity from Ubuntu systems, run the following command:

sudo apt-get remove audacity
